Ilajna’s first released song was her rendition of “Shri Ram Stuti,” a prayer by Goswami Tulsidas Ji. It established her devotional direction from the beginning: respectful of the original tradition, emotionally sincere, and focused on allowing sacred poetry to remain at the center rather than overwhelming it with unnecessary reinterpretation.

She can move from modern pop storytelling to prayer without treating those worlds as contradictions. One explores the complexity of everyday human experience; the other turns toward devotion, grace and something more timeless.
